Rishi Batra
Professor Batra is a nationally recognized speaker and scholar in the fields of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, and Law and Technology. He was Director of the Leadership and Appropriate Dispute Resolution (LADR) program for the US Air Force Academy, where he trained future Air Force officers in negotiation principles and strategy.
He has taught at Stanford University, Berkeley, the University of Oregon, UNLV Boyd School of Law, Santa Clara Law, Texas Tech University, and St. Mary’s. He earned his J.D. from Harvard and a B.S. in Computer Science from Berkeley.
Jana Black
Professor Jana Black holds several advanced degrees and has studied at Harvard, Georgia Tech, and Brigham Young University. She is currently serving as Dean of Student Affairs and Instruction.
Professionally, she is a data analyst and business strategist who focuses on what we can learn from our data and has consulted with businesses across the healthcare, education, hospitality, and technology industries on strategic decisions driven by data.
She teaches courses in Cognitive Psychology and Data Science.
Steve Black
Professor Steve Black teaches cybersecurity, tax, and entrepreneurship. Prior to moving to Texas, he taught at Brigham Young University, the University of New Hampshire, LSU, Syracuse University, the University of Idaho, and the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
He is recognized around the world as a speaker and scholar on issues dealing with cybersecurity, technology, privacy, money, and the law — all things that drive the digital economy.
He holds degrees from the University of Washington and Brigham Young University, and has been named a Visiting Scholar at the National University of Singapore, Division of Engineering & Technology Management.
Matt Bromiley
Matt Bromiley, currently serving as the Lead Solutions Engineer at LimaCharlie, brings a wealth of experience in digital forensics, incident response, and cybersecurity. At LimaCharlie, he helps organizations build robust security programs using the best technology available to complement their needs. Previously an incident response consultant at numerous renowned DFIR firms, Matt has a diverse background in assisting clients across various industries with complex cybersecurity challenges. He is recognized for his expertise in digital forensics, malware analysis, network security monitoring, and rapid forensic analysis across large enterprises. As a SANS instructor, Matt has taught courses on advanced digital forensics, network forensics, and incident response. Matt has held the following certifications: GCFA, GNFA, GCTI.
Matilda Grey
With nearly two decades of experience in the financial sector, Matilda Grey has worked extensively in corporate security, specializing in physical security, risk and threat management, and financial crimes investigations. Her background includes service in a prosecutor’s office, and she now works in law enforcement, where she leads complex cases involving digital forensics and testifies in court as a subject matter expert. Matilda holds a B.A. in Security, Terrorism & Counter-terrorism and Politics & International Relations, an M.A. in Security Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Studies. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
Will Toronto
Will Toronto currently serves as an attorney in the United States Air Force JAG Corps. He has litigated military criminal courts-martial, acted as chief prosecutor for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, and taught as an instructor of new lawyers at the Air Force Judge Advocate Generals School. He obtained a post-graduate law degree (LL.M.) in Space/Cyber/Telecommunications Law from Univ. of Nebraska, Lincoln, in 2017, and then advised on cyber and space policy at the Pentagon (Headquarters USAF). He was also the primary legal advisor to the National Air & Space Intelligence Center, the USAF’s flagship intelligence community (IC) unit. His current (last) assignment is at Air Forces Southern (AFSOUTH), where he travels throughout Latin America, teaching and training Space/Cyber/Operations law to various partner nations’ militaries in Spanish.
