I’m very busy. Do I have time to complete a course?

Yes! Our courses are designed for busy, working professionals. We focus on the knowledge and skills you need and we plan each module to be completed on your schedule.

For some, that means reading materials, watching videos, or completing assignments during a commute, in the mornings or evenings, or even on weekends. For others, it might mean working on the course whenever time allows, without a set schedule. Either way, we’re here to support you.

How much time will a course take?

Our courses are designed to be shorter than a regular semester so you can focus on a related set of knowledge and skills.

That means that you should plan for 3 to 5 hours of material for each module.

How long do I have to finish a course?

We design the courses to fit into a six-week period IF you had time to work on it each week.

But don’t worry, if your schedule gets busy, we give you up to year to finish each course (and if you have a really busy year, extensions are available, too!).

What does a course look like?

Our courses are designed by experts in their fields. They select readings, assignments, video lectures, quizzes, and other materials to help you learn.

For some of the classes, the goal is to help you gain a working knowledge of a new field quickly. These types of courses focus on readings and lectures to bring you up to speed.

For others, the course is focused on skills. These courses may ask you about drafting documents or assessing threats. You may get a chance to watch over the shoulder of an expert as they discuss how they do what they do while they are doing it.

What happens after I finish?

Upon course completion, you will receive a digital certificate that shows your hard work! These can be shared and displayed on social media or printed suitably for framing.

Some of the courses are part of a larger series. When you complete a series, you are awarded a series certificate. Good job!

Are there other fees?

The tuition allows you access to the course for a full year from enrollment. Some courses have required textbooks or materials that may be in addition to the course tuition.

What is your refund policy?

Our goal is to make sure that you have the best learning experience possible. If a course isn’t for you, then follow the instructions in our refund policy and we’ll do our best to make things right.
